OUR BAKERY
We are a family run business who have been based in the small market town of Horncastle for nearly 50 years and have been baking in the county for well over a 100 years.
We are a small team of passionate individuals who love to craft new and exciting recipes in our bakery. Each and every day we work hard to produce some of the finest baked goods in Lincolnshire.

ARTISAN BREADS
Hot off the Oven
Our craft bakers produce a wide range of freshly baked breads on a daily basis. We use only the finest quality flours mixed with as few ingredients as possible and with no preservatives at all.

Our range includes white, wholemeal and milk breads, together with granary, corn, spelt and honey, our popular low GI and more recently our new sourdough selection.
You'll also find a touch of the continent with our parisian baguettes, garlic bread and foccacia.
Once in the shop, all our bread goes quickly, so to avoid disappointment, please give us a call to place your orders.
LUNCHTIME SAVOURIES
For any time of the day...
A trip to the bakery wouldn't be complete without taking home one of our savouries.
Our customers have a particular soft spot for our sausage rolls, all of which are made using our handmade flakey or shortcrust pastry and award winning Lincolnshire sausage meat.
Accompanying these we have our Lincolnshire pasties, made with locally produced minced beef and vegetables; beef steak pasties, pork pies, haslets and speciality quiches.
MORNING GOODS
You'll be spoilt for choice!
Our morning goods range features a selection of freshly baked Danish pastries, croissants and doughnuts, together with traditional favourites that evoke memories of times gone by such as fruit scones, egg custards, tea cakes, eccles cakes and iced buns.

Look out for our Lincolnshire yellow bellies (a cross between a rock cake and a fruit scone) which can be eaten just as they are or served cut open with lots of real butter!
SMALL CAKES & TRAY BAKES
Served All Day
Our tray bake range is all about those tempting treats which are just too good to resist. At the heart of this range we have all things chocolate, including; mars bar cake, rocky road, brownies, chocolate biscuit cake and millionaire shortbread.
Looking for a little less chocolate? Don't worry, all these sit alongside lemon drizzle, carrot cake, ginger parkin, flapjack, cranberry & caramel slice and much more.

Our small cake selection varies on a regular basis as we like to experiment with different recipes, but you'll usually find some delicious cupcakes and keep an eye out for our fondant dips and jap fancies.
FRESH CREAM
Naughty but very nice...
For an extra special and indulgent treat, our fresh cream range is available every week from Thursday to Saturday.
With a choice ranging from chocolate eclairs and banoffee pies to jam and cream doughnuts and scones, the hardest part will be deciding what to go for.

And as if all this wasn't enough, we also make a selection of speciality cheescakes and tortes. These can be purchased as individuals or made to order for those special occasions.
SANDWICHES, SALADS & ROLLS
Let us do Lunch!
Sandwiches, salads, filled rolls and wraps are made fresh daily in the bakery using our sliced loaves, meats oven roasted in our own ovens and other locally sourced ingredients.

We like to offer our customers a wide selection of different fillings, so no matter what your taste, you'll always find something to tempt you.

Buffets for all occasions!
Do you have a private or commercial function coming up? Our catering department can do all the work for you, so you don't have too! We offer sandwich platters and traditional Lincolnshire Fayre.
